Wireline Coring Drill

YGQY-600

1. Fully hydraulic top-drive power head with infinitely adjustable rotation speed and feed rate. The power head is driven directly by a hydraulic motor, allowing for continuous adjustment of rotational speed, feed pressure, and lifting speed. This enables real-time parameter optimization based on the hardness of the geological formation. Combined with a long-stroke feed system (approximately 1.8 m), the rig allows for longer single-pass drilling, thereby reducing the frequency of rod handling (adding or removing drill rods).
2. Wireline coring system for core retrieval without pulling the drill string. Equipped with a wireline coring assembly (available in NQ, BQ, or HQ sizes) and an overshot (retrieval tool), the system allows the inner tube—once filled with core samples—to be retrieved via a wireline, while the drill string remains in the borehole. There is no need to pull the entire drill string out of the hole to retrieve cores; this is the primary structural feature that ensures the high efficiency of this model.
3. Crawler undercarriage and hydraulic mast for multi-angle drilling and rapid site relocation. The mast is raised, lowered, and extended via hydraulic cylinders, enabling drilling at any angle from 0° to 90° (including inclined, horizontal, and vertical holes).

Product Description:
The YGQY-600 wireline coring drill is a versatile, self-propelled drilling rig designed for geological exploration, mineral prospecting, core sampling, and water-well drilling. As a reliable wireline coring drilling rig, it features a fully hydraulic drive system, it is equipped with a top-drive power head, a wireline coring system, and a crawler-mounted hydraulic mast. This core drilling rig allows the unit to independently navigate to a site, level itself, and perform collar and drilling operations across complex terrains, including mountainous, hilly, and forested areas. With its core capabilities—stepless speed regulation, long-stroke feeding, and the ability to retrieve cores without withdrawing the drill string—the wireline coring drill significantly reduces auxiliary downtime and enhances drilling efficiency per run, making it a highly effective solution for medium-to-deep-hole geological exploration projects and mineral core investigation work.

Wireline Coring Drill

Product Features:
1. High Proportion of Actual Drilling Time; Significant Improvement in Overall Footage Efficiency: Wireline coring eliminates the need for the full round-trip drill string retrieval process required in conventional coring methods. This drastically reduces auxiliary operation time, resulting in higher footage per shift and greater daily efficiency compared to standard coring rigs—an advantage that becomes even more pronounced as hole depth increases.
2. High Core Recovery Rate and Excellent Sample Integrity: The inner tube of the core barrel houses and protects the core throughout the entire process, ensuring minimal disturbance and a high recovery rate. With clearly defined stratigraphic boundaries, the recovered cores meet the stringent requirements for sample integrity needed for geological logging, grade assaying, and reserve estimation.
3. Centralized Control; Single-Operator Capability: A centralized hydraulic pilot control console integrates functions such as rotation, feed, hoisting, tramming, and mast positioning. A single operator can manage both drilling and auxiliary tasks, reducing reliance on highly specialized labor and lowering personnel costs.
4. Modular Design; Low Relocation Costs and Environmental Compliance: The rig features a modular design, allowing it to be broken down into components for transport via cableway in mountainous terrain or by small vehicles. The hydraulic drive system operates quietly and avoids the mechanical shocks typical of gearbox-driven systems. Furthermore, the rig offers dual-power options—diesel engine or electric motor—making it adaptable to both remote field sites lacking power infrastructure and urban construction environments with strict environmental regulations.

Application Scenarios:
1. Solid mineral exploration: General surveys, detailed surveys, and exploratory drilling for metallic minerals (such as gold, copper, iron, lead, and zinc) and non-metallic minerals represent the primary application scenarios for the 600-series rigs.
2. Regional geological surveys and geological mapping: Includes drilling for geological profile control and structural verification, requiring continuous core sampling for stratigraphic identification.
3. Engineering geological investigation: Site investigations for hydroelectric dams, road and railway subgrades, tunnels, bridge foundations, and high-rise building foundations, involving core sampling for rock and soil mechanics testing.
4. Mine production prospecting and supplementary exploration (underground or open-pit): Delineation of ore bodies, grade control, and investigation of mined-out areas or slopes.
5. Geological hazard and hydrogeological surveys: Investigation of landslide structures, identification of fault zones, and determination of the interface between overburden and bedrock.
6. Exploration drilling for unconventional resources, such as shallow geothermal energy or coalbed methane (depending on the specific requirements for hole depth and diameter).
