The rig operates on the medium-to-high air pressure DTH impact principle, with an operating pressure range of 1.7–3.5 MPa and an air consumption requirement of 17–42 m³/min (matched with an air compressor), enabling the drilling of holes with diameters ranging from 100 mm to 254 mm. It features centralized full-hydraulic control, a main lifting force of 30 tons, a single-pass feed stroke of up to 6.6 meters, and a rotary torque of 9,000–14,000 N·m, making it compatible with various drill pipe specifications.

It has strong working condition compatibility and is equipped with a medium and high wind pressure down-the-hole hammer system as standard, which can directly construct deep water wells, hydrological exploration holes, and geothermal pilot holes.
